In our own words

Who we are

Steelwood (SWEPL) has spent 35+ years in Nepal’s construction materials trade. Nine branches—six SWEPL, three SAS Steel—mean you’re rarely far from someone who can check stock or sort a truck.

Our manufacturing arm, Jagdamba Enterprises, sits alongside trading so we can speak both languages: what’s on the market and what it takes to make it.

Domestic catalogue lines are our bread and butter; we also import when the spec doesn’t exist locally. That flexibility matters on tricky jobs.

More than 150 colleagues across the group run the day to day—100+ of them at SWEPL across six branches. We answer to high standards—not buzzwords—and we mean to keep it that way.

What we’re here to do

Mission

We’re not here only to move tonnes—we want to help build the country in a way we can be proud of. That means fair prices, honest timelines, and material that matches what you asked for.

When you’re racing a monsoon window or a client handover, having stock and a straight answer beats a slick brochure.

We try to treat every enquiry like it matters—because for your site, it does. We’re also always learning, so we can keep up as codes and grades evolve.

Growth for us is steady, responsible, and tied to people we’ve worked with for years—not a quarter to quarter sprint. That’s how we sleep at night.
